“Imagine a childhood soundtrack of neighs and the clatter of hooves, where after-school plans involved a seven-hour drive to a weekend horse show. That was my reality, growing up on a hunter/jumper farm. That inherent sense of adventure only intensified through college, fueling road trips and a yearning for more. Little did I know, my 2007 Occupational Therapy degree would become a launchpad for a life of constant motion. Travel therapy became my excuse to explore new cities and states every few months, each location a chapter in my personal travelogue. Then came 2013, and a one-way ticket to New Zealand – a three-month odyssey that redefined my definition of adventure. Now, I’m here to share the stories born from those roots, those roads, and those breathtaking leaps into the unknown.”

“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” – Ibn Bathtub

Okay, so I’m not exactly ‘luxury travel influencer’ material, and I’ve graduated from the hostel bunk-bed life. I’m more of a ‘let’s find a place that’s clean, comfy, and won’t require selling a kidney’ kind of traveler. I’m a research ninja, finding those middle-of-the-road spots that are sometimes surprisingly awesome, sometimes just…cheap. But I’m always ready to drop some serious cash on once-in-a-lifetime experiences and food that’ll make your tastebuds sing. And yes, there WILL be animals. Every. Trip. I’m obsessed with learning about local cultures, even when it involves awkward attempts at the local lingo and getting slightly lost. Not every adventure is sunshine and rainbows, and I’m not shy about sharing the travel fails. Some places I’ve fallen head over heels for, others…let’s just say I’ve ticked them off the list. But I’m here to give you the real deal, unfiltered and with a side of humor. Got questions? Hit me up – I’m an open book (with travel stains).
